Christmas 2015-Greetings readers

Dear ALC News readers and supporters,

We’re getting close to the dates in which everything seems to dilute in the midst of a market that relentlessly tries to sell the best image of itself. There seems to be no room to take consciousness of drastic climate changes, of women around the world who are still objectified, purchased and sold, without considering the violence to which they are submitted, or of the human tide that arrives in search for refuge and ” crèches in the world” where they can give birth to a new reality in their forcefully interrupted lives. At the Latin American and Caribbean Agency of Communications we firmly stand by our purpose to communicate life and new hopeful births, a purpose we have shared with you for more than 20 years.

Goals that are being consolidated:

  • Access to communication for everyone on a fair and equal basis.

  • Loyalty to the values of the Kingdom of God, asserting our commitment to the truth, the defense of life and human rights.

  • Citizens’ rights to truthful information.

  • To offer a space for dialogue and interaction over socio-political and ecclesial subjects that help to consolidate new life experiences that include and support those who don’t have a voice.

May the Lord bless and secure our current “good tidings” that are so longed for and so needed to keep being light in the darkness.

Merry Christmas and a better start of 2016! These are the wishes of ALC News to you all.

“The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.” (Isaiah 9.2)
