‘Beloved God,
We want to thank you for this year that just ended.
Lord we want to ask your forgiveness, we want to ask your forgiveness for our pride and our way of seeing the world as a disposable handkerchief.
Climate change is nothing more and nothing less than a symptom of our selfish way of life. We want to ask for your help in this new year that begins so that we can be good stewards of your creation and that we can act for better and more profound changes in climate action.
In the name of the Lord Jesus,
