YAKARTA-
Delegates from the World Student Christian Federation-WSCF- will meet in Jakarta (Indonesia) from July 13-24 under the theme “Envisioning Ecumenical Youth Advocacy and Solidarity in the 21st Century: Human Rights, Gender Justice and Leadership Engagement”. This global event is hosted by the Indonesian Student Christian Movement -GMKI and the World Student Christian Federation in Asia and the Pacific.
According to them, 4 different activities will be held:
-A Global Planning and Capacity Building Workshop for global staff and officers to work on the strategic plan 2023-2026, build together a framework of good practices and ensure cohesive implementation of our mission worldwide.
-An International Seminar on Human Rights and Fundamentalisms where WSCF will launch its new global program “Democracy, Human Rights and Fundamentalisms”.
-A Gender Sensitivity Training Workshop for youth to further promote dialogue, understanding and inclusiveness.
-And the WSCF Asia-Pacific Regional Committee meeting, where delegates from all the Student Christian Movements in that region will meet to discuss and decide on their near future.
